This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") governs your use of EVERTIN. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service by reference. Violations of this AUP are a material breach of those Terms.
EVERTIN is built on Anthropic's Claude model family. To the extent Customer uses AI-assisted features of the Service, Customer is also bound by Anthropic's Usage Policies (as in force from time to time at anthropic.com/legal/aup). Where the two policies overlap, the more restrictive applies.
We use the term "you" to mean Customer and every user with access to the Service through Customer's account.
1. What you must not do — content
You must not use EVERTIN, in input or in output, to generate, store, distribute, or publish content that:
- Sexualises minors in any way, including computer-generated imagery, text, or solicitation. This is absolute and not subject to context.
- Incites or promotes violence, terrorism, organised crime, human trafficking, or genocide.
- Constitutes non-consensual sexual content, including non-consensual intimate imagery, deepfakes of identifiable people without their consent, and content depicting sexual acts without affirmative consent of all participants.
- Targets a person or group with harassment, hate, or defamation, including content that demeans or threatens on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or veteran status.
- Facilitates self-harm or suicide, including content that promotes eating disorders or dangerous "challenges".
- Provides operational uplift for weapons capable of mass casualty — biological, chemical, nuclear, radiological — or for cyberweapons designed to compromise systems Customer is not authorised to access.
- Infringes intellectual-property rights, including unauthorised reproduction of copyrighted works, trademarks, or trade secrets belonging to others.
- Violates privacy or publicity rights, including doxxing, unauthorised disclosure of personal data, or commercial use of a person's likeness without consent.
- Is fraudulent, deceptive, or designed to mislead — including phishing, scams, fake reviews, fake endorsements, undisclosed paid promotion, and impersonation of any person, brand, or public body.
- Constitutes regulated professional advice (medical, legal, financial, tax, mental-health) presented as authoritative without an appropriate human professional in the loop, where local law requires one.
- Is illegal in the jurisdiction where the content is created, stored, or made available.
2. What you must not do — conduct
You must not:
- Spam. Send unsolicited bulk email or messages, harvest addresses, evade unsubscribe requests, or use the Service to bypass another party's anti-spam controls.
- Abuse the infrastructure. Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system, or breach security or authentication measures, without our written authorisation. Coordinated security research is welcome via the disclosure address in §6.
- Disrupt the Service. Mount denial-of-service attacks, launch automated traffic that materially degrades performance for other tenants, or otherwise interfere with the integrity, availability, or performance of the Service.
- Reverse-engineer or extract the Service's source code, models, weights, prompts, training data, or non-public APIs, except to the extent applicable Swedish or EU law expressly prohibits the restriction.
- Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service, in whole or in part, without a separate written agreement.
- Use scraping, automation, or bots to extract data from the Service or third-party services in violation of their terms.
- Bypass usage limits including rate limits, quotas, billing tiers, plan restrictions, or trial limits — whether by creating multiple accounts, sharing credentials, or any other means.
- Misrepresent the source of AI-generated output. Where the law or platform rules of a downstream distribution channel require disclosure of AI assistance, you must comply.
3. Children and protected groups
You must not knowingly enrol or process the personal data of users under 16 years of age through any EVERTIN-powered store, unless you have verifiable parental consent in accordance with applicable law (including GDPR Art. 8 in the EU/EEA). If you become aware that you have done so without proper basis, you must delete the data and notify us at privacy@evertin.com.
You must not market to or profile minors in a manner inconsistent with applicable consumer-protection law.
4. AI-specific rules
When using AI-assisted features:
- You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated outputs before publication under your brand. AI systems can produce confident but incorrect, biased, or otherwise unsuitable content.
- You must not present AI-generated content as the original work of a specific named human without that person's knowledge and consent.
- You must not use the Service to make consequential decisions about identifiable individuals (credit, employment, housing, benefits, insurance, criminal-justice outcomes) without a documented human-in-the-loop process. The Service is not designed for, and not warranted for, such use.
- You must not attempt to elicit or exfiltrate the model's system prompt, weights, or proprietary instructions beyond what is provided through documented APIs.
- You may not use the Service to train, fine-tune, or evaluate a competing AI model, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
5. Enforcement
We may, at our discretion and proportionate to the violation:
- issue a warning,
- require you to take corrective action within a specified time,
- remove or disable access to specific content,
- suspend the affected feature or your account, or
- terminate your account and report the matter to law enforcement.
Where the violation involves an immediate risk of harm to a person or to the security of the Service, we may act without prior notice. We will provide written reasons for any suspension or termination within a reasonable time.
We may also be required to disclose information to law enforcement, supervisory authorities, or courts in response to a lawful request. Where law and circumstance permit, we will give you notice.
6. Reporting abuse and security issues
| Concern | Contact |
|---|---|
| Content abuse, AUP violations | abuse@evertin.com |
| Security vulnerabilities (coordinated disclosure) | security@evertin.com |
| Privacy / data-subject rights | privacy@evertin.com |
Please include enough detail for us to reproduce or investigate. We aim to acknowledge reports within 2 business days.
7. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes take effect 30 days after we post the updated AUP at evertin.com/aup; we will notify the Customer administrator by email where the change introduces a new prohibited use category. Use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
